This really isn't the right site for finding a domestic partner! LOL

Did someone say they needed a garage?????

You should have been here last night, you would have found a few like-minded 240 bros, maybe even a partner.

It's always had it's ups and downs. This down just seems to have lasted a little longer.

Don't let the guys upset you though. They're a bunch of jokesters.

DIY is actually a sponsor. He was referring to the group night we had over there on Saturday. I see now that it never made it to the events section here. I'll be better about keeping that updated.

First of all, I'm sorry if my previous comment offended you. Like Rob said, we are a bunch of jokesters. None of us are really hating on you. We all welcome new people to our group. Once you attend one of our events or meets, you will know. We like to kid around and have fun, and we'll always help out any way we can! We want our group to grow. So, please don't be offended by anything anyone says to you. We do have a few members who will bust your balls, and a few who are clueless (you will recognize them quickly) LOL
On another note, some of us are diehard grammar Nazis. I am one of them, so if you find that a post has been (translated), don't sweat it. Just trying to make things more understandable if possible.
I live in an apartment also here in Lee's Summit. My family and I are trying to find a place with a garage, but until then I understand how you feel!
As far as becoming a non-noob goes, It is based on the amount of posts you have. Here are the ranks and quantity of posts to achieve each rank:
Drift Newb 0
Shift Locker 25
Power Drifter 50
Brake Drifter 75
Feint Drifter 100
Kansei Drifter 125
Proven Drifter 200
This is really not important. We have many members that don't post much if not at all, but they are very popular because they are active at events and meets. It is commonly frowned upon when a member randomly and unnecessarily posts just to increase their post count.
Get to know people and please, please, please go here http://forums.kcdrift.com/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=8&start=1125 and Introduce Yourself! Stick around for awhile and Welcome to KCDrift!
-Chris

I might have a garage we could use. The problem is that there is no master mechanic.

Depends on how you define "Master". I am a "Jedi Master"! I've had my car since 06 and have done quite a bit to it. There isn't a part of my car that I haven't touched, modified, or rebuilt.

Where do you live, and where is your buddy's garage?

That would be awesome! I don't have facebook, and I've been wondering why I haven't seen any threads for any meets.

You don't need a garage to build a car. A garage would be nice but I rebuilt my ka on my front patio. Vroom skirch vroom. This forum is filled with like minded individuals but be careful when they say things like "block your egr hole on your manifold with a dime." It will melt. Valves will be burnt.
