Looks rad, I wish more people in KC had your determination. Good luck on getting it done, and hope to see this thing sliding on the 16th

Starting alignment for the season.

These specs are nearly identical to the red car. Figured i would start there to get a base feel again beinigs how the car is so new. Any opinion?

Getting stuff done!

For alignment, I'd go 0 to -.5 rear camber and get caster up to 7.5ish in front. You'll end up with uneven wear in the rear with almost -2. Maximize that contact patch! You've got the power.

How'd it drive?

I expected youd go with less rear camber since you got overs. Im currently -0.2, and 5.0 in the front hehe. caster anywhere from 6.5-7.5 is good, caster robs angle but also corrects alittle for positive camber at full lock. But its LOOKING SICK! howd it drive? im guess well like the hatch the swap was in before?

i would go with a more 0 camber in the rear but my tires will rub. Dont want to lift it up any. i like the stance. And i suspect that i will drive the caster way up as well just didn't want to go to extreme for the first event. This thing drives way different then the first car. I only slid it once and it was a small one. this sat will be a new ball game forsure. 8)

Needs a more aggressive front bumper to match the low hanging sideskirts.

yeah, a lip would work. it'd look more agressive and match the low hanging skirts.

It was fun. Car was very predectiable. Had a few issues but so much was new on the car. Still bending inner tie rod ends so any advice woukd be nice. And I blew my power steering hose. Besides that ill be ready in may. Hopefully ill get some serious track time in then. Lol

Thicker tie rods? The PBM ones look beefy.
More camber/caster on the front, maybe a tiny bit toe in. Maybe .25-.5 toe in.

I was behind this car a couple times and it looked like it was doing good.
I need a better tire setup next time so I can tandem better.

When is it bending tie rods? Like mid-drift? I've heard bending tie rods is a common problem but I've never had an issue. The only time I can think of that it would bend is if you let the steering wheel go while spinning out and it bashes at lock (when it runs out of lock). I bring a spare set when I go to the track but haven't ever needed them. I'm on stock tie rods. This is more curiosity than anything. Not criticizing at all.

Congrats on finishing the build and making the event.

I think it's mostly the big stickier tires.

Did you weigh the car front/back?

didnt weight the car front and back just did total weight. weighed 2589. pretty sure it was either bending when i spun out or the tires would bite the inner fenders. going to build some nice steering stops, change the intake manifold, new power steering line, and get it the rest of the way wired for the next event. Ant sugestions on aftermarket tie rods anyone?

KTS/GP Sport rods are super beefy. Ikeya Formula look stout and are adjustable for not a bad price. PBM used to stock them but it sounds like they now have their own.

If it's happening spinning, you might need to adjust driving style as well. Like try to steer the car as it rotates to prevent it from jamming up as much as possible. I never let it freewheel when I spin. Not saying you're not. Just saying.
