So thank god for Zilvia... Bought my IACV, Slave cylinder, and motor mounts. All purchased... My homies from Otaku Garage out of Michigan might be hooking me up with some guides so we'll see what happens there! Other than that my parts are being shipped tomorrow! :D

The motor mounts are just stock ones... I plan on just doing the guides because I really don't have a lot of money left lol...

Its in the middle of that kit... The black bar... I was reading something though on nico club... If its the top guide thats hitting the valve cover they said you can just remove it and toss it and just put your valve cover back on and it should go away... May end up trying it... They also said "there was a bulletin from Nissan stating that it is unnecessary, and only causes an annoying noise." So we'll try out the possibilities before I buy anything else...

This is all fact. You don't need the top guide at the top of the head. That is where the rattling comes from. I left mine off when I built my motor and have never had any problems. You do need both of the other two guides though!

Well took out the other top guide and we'll see what happens... Sanded down the valve cover and painted it and am going to sand it some more next weekend and repaint it again... Drained the oil from the pan and put new gasket on the pan... Just pretty much doing minor things until I get my mounts and slave cylinder this week...

The other guide on the top timing chain... NOT THE TENSIONER THOUGH!!!

The top guide was already off so we took off the side one... That I have highlighted in yellow.

To say the least I'm pissed off with everything right now... I have to wait til Monday for the dude from Zilvia to send my motor mounts and slave cylinder... They were supposed to send them this week but had to fly out of town. So no motor and tranny in the car this weekend. I paid for everything on March 30th. Its now April 12th. Makes me angry because I could of bought solid mounts off ebay and already could have had them. Bummed. :(

I would, but it was a package deal and I'm getting both the mounts and the slave... Probably doesn't sound like much a deal but I atleast know I'll be getting them and I'll be getting good parts... The dude has 100% positive feedback and has been rated 107 times so... As much as I don't want to I'll just wait... My focus this weekend is working on repainting my valve cover and working on wiring I guess...

Been a long while since I've last posted... Got pretty much everything ready to go parts-wise besides a battery! lol Its been a long annoying month and a half... Bought motor mounts and a slave cylinder from an idiot off Zilvia and I waited nearly a month and half and I never got the parts... I figured what the hell? They have 120 positive feedbacks and have no negatives, what could I lose? Biggest mistake of my life... Gifted them 75 bucks through PayPal (which I never should have done) and yeah pretty much paid for it too... Didn't think I was going to my parts or my money back til I threatened them to give me my money back... They ended up sending the money back and I ended up buying mounts and a slave off ebay for 15 bucks cheaper and received both in the mail over night from Springfield, Mo. Not bad I think... Going in today to buy some odds and ends... Nuts/bolts, some oil, and some other junk... Tomorrow through Sunday is going to be hectic... Going to have the car running this weekend in time for next weekend so I can run the drift event (hopeful). Only major roadblock at this point is figuring out what I'm going to do for a belt... AC & PS are deleted so we're going to measure and try and find a belt short enough to run... (We'll see how that goes -___- ) Other than that... Oh yeah I got my 25mm adapters for my wheels so I'm going to get the tires stretched this week on them sometime... Probably next Friday I'm thinking... Also going to have the fenders rolled before then... Going to be a fun week starting this weekend!

Did you pack and seal the rack and pinion too, or just unhook the pump? Cause I think it will be a real bitch to steer without it.
