I like where this build is headed.

If you want to fit fat rubber for autox/road coarse, keep the offsets conservative (like +20 or higher). If you want it to look good slammed, get the +10s. Grids will look cool on it.

Since you are doing custom piping, you should go mid-mount. It was awesome on my S14. My brother and I did whole the setup. He put together and is currently running a mid-mount KA-T in his S13 ('garage hero greg' on here). You can't beat mid-mount. It is awesome.

+1 for Pittsburg/Pitts State. My little brother is a soon to be alumni. He does the Gorilla Radio business. DJ Random Rob.

Im gonna be looking for mostrubber i can fit, so i will definitely keep the offset in mind.

i had already planned on doing a midmount after talking to derek about it. which i still need to mount the intercooler and figure things out.

dont know uour brother personally but i have some friends that probably do.

julian has a midmount intercooler for sale if ur going to do that. just fyi he had to remove his headlight brackets so thats realy the only problem ive seen with midmount set ups.

It really depends on the time you take in mounting it (I assume you are talking about pop-ups). After trimming a few pieces here and there, Greg got his mid-mount to fit and headlights to still function.

OP, here is Greg's post on the intercooler mounting and some of the work involved:

so lately my car battery has been dying if the car sits for like 12 hours or so. found out it to be the glowshift guages since they are connected to a constant 12v for the color memory. each guage pulls 34 milliamps and i have 4 so it was draining it. anyways just got rid of the constant 12v and only to ign so now i wont have to worry bout it.

We need a lot more info than that and a picture of the turbo. Did you start the car or did you just crank it with the distributer unplugged? You had the oil line hooked up? Just trying to make sense of it since you don't have piping yet.

Ok sorry. I have been driving the car with no pipe. The feed line is connected and not leaking positively as i have checked it the past few days. To crank it so oil was in the center housing before running the car i pulled the fuel injector fuse and i cranked it for a for a minute.

There is a small pool of oil that sits where the compressor housing and outlet attach. Which is dripping through down onto the oil return hose. Im sure it isnt the oil drain as that pipe is dry.

I also do have the proper restrictor on it

I hope that helps
