whats the danger of gas in the oil? cause i have some in my car and it dosent smoke or anything i just havent had any money to oil change it

it thins out the oil therefore it is not lubricating everything properly and can cause major damage when the bearings arnt getting oiled right.

ya i had my rings blow which when i pulled the piston i saw that my piston was Fucked and had a hole going through it... and it was falling apart.

but i have a more motors and parts laying around so i was able to put another piston and rod in. i also ordered arp head studs and a metal headgasket.

should be running tomorrow.

so motor is rebuilt and ready to go but by saturday (for the drift event! im so pumped!!!) i still have to:

get an ecu
relocate gas tank
switch fuel pump's
install seat belts haha
get the motor dyno tuned at 5PM friday night (this is where i find out if my motor blows up haha)
break in new motor
get more tires mounted on spare wheels

and hopefully all this goes well. im almost expecting it to blow becasue nothing ever goes right for me haha so in prep for it incase something happens to the motor here is what ill have to ALSO do before saturday:

get single cam motors from Juice
get one completely preped incase i have to motor swap it...
pick up a trans at my parents place
*if my motors blown also swap this motor in

im stressed as F**k!

It spun some tires, and blew up some ring lands.

With some forged stuff it could have been awesome (for longer)

finished the car and got it running/driving but never got it tuned right so it blew... BAD. Got another motor and did a full rebuild from valve cover to oil pan... during tuning the pistons couldnt handle the instant 10psi of boost... so between way to small of injectors (550cc), non forged pistons, (single cam rods were used and held up really good),and poor tuning skills (guilty haha) it blew 2 pistons... so i stopped the build tell i could invest my time and money into it and do it all up right.

but recently ive been sidetracked and have been buildin up my SC400 haha

Yea ill do that sometime soon. right now we have to finish the car we had to build in 30 days... (1939 ford 5 window) car was bare metal. with 12 days left we have a looooong way to go which is pretty scary haha. it will get done though (fingers crossed) and debut at World Of Wheels the 10th-12th at Bartle Hall.

Are you asking if he succeeded with the 5 window? If you are asking that we did and we won 4 different awards with it at World of Wheels. Ryan won't answer because he hasn't been on this forum in forever because, and last I heard he lives in Oklahoma now.
