Stock Ka Ratios -1st: 3.321
-2nd: 1.902
-3rd: 1.308
-4th: 1.000
-5th: 0.759
-Reverse: 3.382
Final: 4.083

Stock T56 Ratios -1st: 2.66 -2nd: 1.78
-3rd: 1.30
-4th: 1.00
-5th: .74
-6th: .50

My car currently drives amazing except high way is a little off. 75 Mph @ 1700 Rpm doesn't really fly. Would like to go lower on the rear ratio. Has anyone heard of the exterra front ratio being used in a s13 housing? Or the R32 rear ratio in the S13 housing.

Claimed Exterra fornt ratio is 4.63??
Claimed R32 rear ratio is 4.363??

Any input??

So you'd like to cruise doing 75 at higher RPMs?

I would think a stock 4:1 would feel good with the V8 with the torque and all. I like the 4:1 with my SR but always wanted to try 4:3 but that's with SR torque and power.

With my 6 speed being a double overdrive the car cruises 70 mph @ 16-1700 rpm. Little rough considering my cam doesnt clean out untill 3k. Its just choppy still. you have to accel then coast, accel then coast. ect.

I would imagine a 4.3 would be terrible with this setup, but if you want to try it out I've got a Nismo 2way with a 4.3 that I might be willing to sell for the right price.

Looking for opinions. Please put some reason behind why you think it would be terrible. I was considering the xterra 4.63 but the 4.363 might work as well. Shoot me a price on the set up you have.

I have a 4.36 gear in my s14 with an SR and it's ok nothing too special. I was thinking of going back to 4.10 or trying a J30 3.90 just so I can see which ratio is best for my setup..... but cruising at 70 is around 3100 rpm's.... 75 is 3500. 4.30 with LS1 is what Odi Bakchis runs in formula drift so its a proven combo he is killing it this year....

This is the kind of info I am seeking. Thank you sir. My 70mph cruising rpm with the T56 is 1600-1700. I really just want a better cruise as long as it doesn't kill my car when I wanna play.
